Our story

The story of the House of TOHI KÉAL

More than 50 years of passion for the scalp

It all began with a family passion. In 1975 and then in 1984, Dominique and Michel, Alban Fabacher's parents, opened their hair salons, driven by a deep love of their craft.

Far more than hairdressers, they took an early interest in the scalp, which they saw as the key to healthy, beautiful hair. At a time when this approach was still on the fringes, they were already incorporating scalp and hair bulb analysis into their salons.

Over the years, this expertise was refined and naturally passed on to Alban, who grew up at the heart of this world.

“Caring for hair starts with caring for where it grows.”

A pioneering vision

Alban Fabacher and Jordane Kehlhoffner set out to test this conviction against the rest of the world. Their travels, from Asia to the United States, proved a revelation.

In Asia

Head care rituals in which relaxation, precise movements and deep scalp care are rooted in an age-old tradition.

In Korea

An advanced dermo-cosmetic approach that treats the scalp as an extension of the facial skin: the skinification of the scalp.

In the United States

The experiential side of hair spas, blending expertise, relaxation and high-end hospitality.

From this legacy and these inspirations, TOHI KÉAL® was born: a premium brand where family heritage meets innovation, and where the scalp is finally recognised as the foundation of healthy, lasting and radiant hair.
